What is Anchored?
Anchored is an event where singles in their 20s and 30s from multiple churches can gather together for encouraging teaching and fellowship.
We understand that singles in many churches, though a dynamic part of Christ’s body, can often be overlooked, underutilized, and sometimes neglected. We believe that getting these singles together occasionally could be spiritually and relationally heartening.
The theme for Anchored this October is “Press On.” This year’s theme seeks to encourage men and women in the perseverance and endurance of faith. Christians have faced many and diverse challenges in every age. At present, we find ourselves in an increasingly wayward culture with its pressure to conform to secular wisdom. Beyond such external challenges, and more subtly, we are tested by our own sinful desires that entice us to love the world. Christ stands against all such challenges and beckons His people to persevere on the path of faith. The teaching of Anchored 2021 will challenge us to “Press On,” warning us against falling away and encouraging us to cling to Jesus as we move toward our eternal home.
